Launch lifecycle

Every Eden launch follows the same four stages. There is no branch where a creator can change course halfway through, and no stage needs Eden's permission to move forward.

1. Launch

The creator picks a track, a pair asset, a name, symbol, image and links, and declares their data sources. In the same transaction:

  • $500 of ROOT is burned. There is no cash launch fee.
  • 1,000,000,000 tokens are minted. Nobody receives tokens before trading opens except through the creator's own buy, which is paid for at the curve price and vested.
  • The creator buys at least 20 % of supply (up to 80 %) on the curve, in the same transaction, before anyone else can buy. The buy is locked in a vesting contract for 30 days to 4 years, on a schedule the creator chooses (Creator controls).
  • The creator fixes their buyback share (0–90 % of future creator fee income), permanently.
  • Data sources are stored encrypted to the scoring oracle's key, with a public commitment. They are never readable on-chain.

2. Trade the curve

Anyone can buy and sell against the bonding curve from the first block. The price rises as people buy and falls as they sell, and the curve is always on the other side of the trade.

  • An anti-snipe tax applies to buys during the first 15 seconds.
  • Every trade pays the same trading fee, in the pair asset. It is never charged in the launch token.
  • Scorers can start scoring the project, and the systematic score runs as soon as data is connected.

3. Graduate

When the curve has sold its full 80 % allocation, it closes. Graduation runs inside the buy that finishes the curve. If that automatic step cannot finish for any reason, anyone can complete it with one call. It does not need the creator and it does not need Eden. See Graduation.

4. Pool

A Uniswap v4 pool is created at exactly the curve's final price, seeded with everything the curve raised plus 16 % of supply. That liquidity is locked forever. Trading continues in the pool through Eden's hook, with the same fee and the same payout lanes as on the curve.

Nothing is required of holders when a launch moves from curve to pool. The tokens in your wallet are the same tokens before and after.
