Risk disclosures

Eden is new software on a new chain. Read this before you launch, trade or score.

Tokens

  • Launch tokens are highly speculative. Most will lose value, and any can go to zero. A good score measures a project's real output; it is not a price prediction.
  • A token is not equity. Holding a launch token gives you a share of that token's trading fees. It gives you no claim on the company, its revenue or its assets.
  • Curves and pools move fast. Large trades move price, and a quote can change before your trade lands. Set a minimum output you can accept.
  • The first 15 seconds of every launch are taxed on buys, starting at 99 %. Buying in that window costs most of what you send.

Pair assets

  • A launch priced in a stock or a stablecoin carries that asset's risk on top of its own.
  • Tokenized stocks are issued by Robinhood. The issuer can block addresses or pause transfers. If it does, launches paired with that stock can stop trading, and Eden cannot override it.
  • Dollar values shown in the app are estimates from on-chain price feeds.

Scoring

  • Scoring is centralized at launch. Each epoch's systematic scores and thesis grades are computed by Eden's scoring oracle and signed by a single Eden-held key. A 72-hour challenge window follows every commitment, and the adjudicators at launch are Eden reviewers. Treat scores as Eden's assessment, not a trustless measurement.
  • Verified data is not proof of real business. Signed, re-fetched data shows a number came from the project's own systems; it cannot prove the activity behind it was genuine. Forgery-cost tiers, adapter checks and the challenge window limit this, but do not eliminate it.
  • Extra scorer wallets are expensive, not impossible. Each wallet must stake, burn on every score, write its own graded thesis and stay under a 5 % cap. Eden does not verify scorer identities.
  • "Verified" is a manual judgement by Eden's team. It is never automatic, and it does not guarantee anything about a project.
  • Scoring burns ROOT, and staking locks ROOT for at least the 7-day unstake cooldown. Rewards depend on the token's trading activity and on other scorers. They can be zero.

ROOT and the treasury

  • The NAV floor is a target, not a guarantee. NAV per ROOT is treasury value divided by total supply. Burns lower the supply, but NAV falls whenever treasury assets fall faster. Illiquid reserves, or no authorised participant willing to redeem, can leave ROOT trading below NAV.

Protocol and admin

  • Smart-contract risk. The contracts have been independently audited, most recently in October 2026, and rehearsed in full against a copy of mainnet. Audits reduce risk; they do not remove it. See Security.
  • Admin powers. A 2-of-3 Eden Safe holds every admin power. Loosening a parameter waits 48 hours in an on-chain timelock. The Safe can stop new launches immediately, but it cannot move funds out of curves, pools, locked liquidity, vesting or anyone's claimable balance.
  • Creator fee routing. The Safe can propose a new creator fee recipient for any launch. It takes effect only after a public 3-day wait.
  • No narrow emergency pause. The only instant brake stops new launches. Trading, sweeps and payouts cannot be paused at launch.
  • No upgradeable proxies. Fixing a contract means deploying a new one and switching to it through the timelock, which takes time.

Prices and oracles

  • ROOT's dollar price is derived on-chain from its pool's time-weighted average and Chainlink's ETH/USD feed, taking the lower of a 30-minute and a 4-hour average. ROOT trades in a single pool at launch, so large trades can still move it.
  • Actions that need a price (burns, buybacks) stop when a feed is stale. Robinhood Chain has no sequencer-uptime feed; a maximum feed age is the guard.

Operations

  • Fee sweeps, holder snapshots, quality proofs and index updates are run by Eden's keepers. If they stop, nothing is lost: fees keep accruing on-chain and are swept when they resume. Payouts are delayed in the meantime.
  • The app and its data API are hosted by Eden. If they are down, the contracts remain usable directly on-chain.

Chain

  • Eden runs on Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit chain. Its sequencer, bridge and finality are outside Eden's control.
